Aims and Scope
The scope of the journal covers case series, case reports, clinical images and letter to editors in the specialty of surgery and related subspecialties including cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, oncosurgery, renal surgery, liver surgery and transplant surgery.

Editorial and Peer Review
All manuscripts submitted to Journal of Case Reports and Images in Surgery undergo stringent editorial review followed by double-blind peer review. In the double-blind peer review neither the reviewers nor the authors know the identity of each other. This enables an unbiased and accurate review of the manuscript.
Acceptance Criteria
The journal accepts articles based only on scientific validity and methodological soundness with emphasis on research integrity and high ethical standards. We believe that if research is scientifically valid and technically sound then it deserves to be published for the research community.
